Our department accepts students with verbal score type. In 2023, while the ceiling score was 484,400 in the relevant score type, the base score was 433,439, which is the highest score among other state and foundation universities with Turkish Language Teaching programs in Turkey. In this sense, it ranks first in the country's success ranking.

In addition, Hacettepe University Department of Turkish Language and Social Sciences Education ranked first in 2019, 2021, 2022 and 2023 among the Turkish Language Teaching programs of state and foundation universities in Turkey. Students who graduate from our department can work in public schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education, private institutions and organizations providing education, Maarif Foundation and Yunus Emre Institute, which aim to teach Turkish as a foreign language and are the representatives of Turkish teaching abroad; In addition, many of our graduates continue their academic career goals as lecturers and lecturers. Our graduate students continue their master's and doctoral studies in disciplines such as Turkish Education, Teaching Turkish to Turkish Children Abroad, Teaching Turkish to Foreigners, and Lifelong Learning.
